We are looking for a detail oriented individual to create and modify 3D engineering drawings, bills of material, and other engineering documentation.  The individual should be proficient in 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.  The individual must be focused and energetic in finding information that is necessary to complete documentation.  The individual will work with engineering, purchasing, and production employees in a friendly and comfortable environment. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

•  Create 3D models of parts and assemblies.

•  Create 2D detail drawings of parts and assemblies from 3D models.

•  Create and enter Bills of Material into our ERP system.

•  Create wiring and plumbing diagrams.

•  Interact with internal customers, vendors, and engineering support staff.

Warehouse - Shipping (Westlake, Ohio)

We currently have an opening in our shipping warehouse on day shift.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Two years’ experience with UPS Worldwide and FedEx ship Manager.
  • Select and ship and/or stage machines and/or parts for customer orders using proper packaging and materials, banding, palletizing etc.
  • Complete shipping documents, weigh, apply stickers, use scales and any metering systems and complete any forms required for shipment.
  • Use of system to generate documents and perform transactions as required.
  • Participate in the preparation and taking of physical inventory.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly (Westlake, Ohio)

Day shift opening in our manufacturing facility working 7:00 am - 3:30 pm in our Assembly department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering.
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools.
  • Prepare sub-assemblies and related parts for final assembly.
  • Wire, solder, and install tubing and options in sub-assembly and final assembly.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills as a resource for continuous improvement. Maintain good housekeeping (Lean Manufacturing 5S practices).

  • Mechanical aptitude

End users and corporate managers regularly submit software upgrade and change requests into our ticketing system. You will be responsible for business analysis, requirements definition, and software development to solve these issues. It’s common to lend your opinions to a business manager one day, only to be coding the solution in SQL and .NET the following day.

 

We cross train our developers on all platforms, tools, languages, and systems. Software Developer’s Scope of Responsibility:

-          Analyzes business problems and suggests ways of applying software solutions to solve them.

-          Uses Microsoft Visual Studio (Winforms, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, VB .NET, C#) to develop front-ends and business logic.

-          Uses Microsoft SQL Server to design, modify, and write business logic for databases.

-          Uses Crystal Reports and SSRS Reporting Services to develop reports.

-          Follows Q-Lab’s standard development practices and techniques.

JOB SUMMARY

The Office Manager supervises office staff, provides status reports to senior management and ensures that all relevant systems are maintained and updated, as needed.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Provide daily work schedules to staff

·         Investigate non-conformance events and initiate corrective actions

·         Maintain office supply stocks

·         Consult with customers, suppliers and local vendors as necessary

·         Provide a variety of status reports to management for review

·         Answer the telephone and direct calls, as necessary

·         Follow Quality System requirements and update associated documents as needed

·         Review and contribute to procedure development and updating

·         Proofread and approve test reports

·         Oversee Human Resource activities (i.e. maintain personnel files, fill vacancies, etc.

·         Act as a backup for necessary office tasks (i.e. test check-in, shipping return paperwork generation, etc.)


SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industrial sales experience (preferably in capital equipment)
